Blessed John Paul II
Blessed John Paul II is a combination of two parishes. St. Vincent De Paul in North Evans, New York and Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Lake View, New York. The St. Vincent Campus has been retired and all functions are at the Lake View campus. We all are experiencing growing pains but soon they should work themselves out. Change is growth. Hopefully we will all continue to grow in our faith.

Renaissance Artists role in the church
Please take a look at the last two links which have some of the famous art work that spoke to the Christians of the Renaissance about their faith. Many of the Christians could not read and the pictures were their way of learning their faith. There is also a link that shows the churches of this same period. Please look through some of these churches and realize that these were built without modern machinery.

Lists of Saints
Take some time to find your patron Saint and find out something about him or her. If your name is not exactly like any of the Saints listed see if your name is similar to one of the Saints names. We will be looking at the Saints later in the year and talking about our patron Saints.

This blog will be put together by my 8th grade students. We plan to search for web sites which will help us learn more about our Faith then add them to our page. Please stay with us and watch us grow during the 2009-2010 school year.
