Renaissance Artists role in the church

Please take a look at the last two links which have some of the famous art work that spoke to the Christians of the Renaissance about their faith. Many of the Christians could not read and the pictures were their way of learning their faith. There is also a link that shows the churches of this same period. Please look through some of these churches and realize that these were built without modern machinery.
